Joe and Kathy Reams, both sixth-generation native Floridians hailing from the Big Bend area, founded Southern Habitats in 2006. The primary business of Southern Habitats is providing customized turn-key native ground cover restoration services for clients seeking to improve the wildlife uses and habitat value of their property.  Serving both private landowners and public land managers, Southern Habitats has built and maintained solid working relationships with wildlife-related state agencies, non-profits, working groups, private firms and colleges throughout the Southeast.  Joe provides personal service, answering calls or emails, and will even schedule a site visit to ensure the success of every Southern Habitats customer.
