The Florida State University System Board of Governors has launched a new look to their website. The SUS recently welcomed new chancellor Frank Brogan, and with his arrival came a new approach to the organization’s image and emphasis. The new site incorporates a revised branding aesthetic to reflect this. The large and complex site has been operational since 2008. A particular goal of the redesign was to limit interruption to the site, and so the new skin has left the structure almost completely intact – important for the network of users who reference the site regularly. The most change came to the home page, where serious issues of content creep have been addressed, and a more focused approach to addressing the site’s audiences has been applied.
