3W Studios launches new website for First Judicial Circuit Courts of Florida

New site is user friendly and accessible pursuant to Americans with Disabilities Act

Tallahassee, Fl. – Kidd Group’s interactive division, 3W Studios, has completed and launched a new website for the First Judicial Circuit Courts of Florida, one of 20 judicial circuits, serving Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. With a national effort to move toward increased compliance, the new website is more user friendly, educational and accessible pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. This also included converting numerous PDFs to meet the ADA requirements. With amplified scrutiny from state and federal entities regarding accessibility, this redesign positions the First Judicial Circuit Courts as a leader in the State of Florida.

“Accessibility was a major concern and it was our top priority,” said Jeremy Spinks, 3W Studios Director. “We are pleased to be able to develop a site that passes Section 508 compliance testing and is also visually appealing and easy to navigate.”

The new website features content management tools; allowing staff to maintain the site internally and facilitating increased collaboration. There is also detailed information on Americans with Disabilities, court programs, judges, contacts and courthouse locations within the First Judicial Circuit.

About the First Judicial Circuit Court:
The First Judicial Circuit is comprised of Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton Counties. Each judicial circuit has a Chief Judge who is responsible for the administration of the court. The First Judicial Circuit’s Chief Judge is the Honorable Terry D. Terrell. Robin M. Wright serves as the First Circuit’s Trial Court Administrator.
