3W Studios wins double at the International Web Page Awards
March 15, 2003
3W Studios, a Tallahassee based e-services company, is the winner of two "Creative Excellence Awards" in the 5th Annual International Web Page Awards (IWPA) competition. In the previous four years of the contest, 3W Studios received eight awards for ingenuity, excellence and achievement. This year, 3W is recognized for its corporate website, www.3wstudios.com, and The Able Trust, www.abletrust.org, website of a non-profit organization helping disabled persons who want to work.

The IWPA is the largest and most distinguished international forum of web site designers on the Internet, developed to judge and evaluate creative achievements on a global level.
Sites were submitted from around the globe, including such leading digital agencies as Ogilvy, Organic and Razorfish. 3W Studios' winning sites competed against some of the world's most well known companies such as Sony, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, and Tommy Hilfiger.
ÒThis competition is especially meaningful when you consider that the judges are all industry experts, creating a real peer-to-peer forum for recognition,Ó said Jeremy Spinks, Studio Director for 3W Studios.
Judges reviewed and scored entries using a 26-question critique based on web site attributes, including graphic design, content, usability, and programming.
Sites receiving Creative Excellence Awards compete as finalists for "Best of Category" and "Best of Festival" honors. IWPA announces the best of the best at its banquet and awards show on May 1 in San Francisco.
Established in 1996, 3W Studios is a division of The Kidd Group, specializing in web based e-business solutions and Internet marketing strategies. The company has offices in both Tallahassee and Orlando, and clients spanning 9 time zones, notably in San Francisco, Washington D.C., and London.
