Giving You What You Want
I know what you like. I know what you read, and I know you are
6 times more likely to click on a link about
old TV commercials than one about
our recent activity. You are almost certain to be more inclined to want to see
an interesting stop-motion movie than check out
our Facebook updates. There is even a 0.003% chance that you will simply opt out of these emails. How do I know? Our super-slick email marketing software lets me keep tabs on all kinds of details. You can
read more about it, but I bet you'd rather
check this out, even though you don't know what it is.
"So," I hear you say, "if you know all this, why even bother to tell me about the stuff I don't click on?" Well, this is a marketing tool, remember? And anyway, we're
up to all kinds of interesting stuff. Do read on.

Are You Ready for January 1?
| Starting January 1, 2010, there will be new document requirements for obtaining a driver license or ID card in Florida. Thanks to a comprehensive awareness campaign created by Kidd Group, citizens can be prepared for the changes. Statewide media and public relations will be ongoing through the rest of 2009. |

3W Studios formed an integral part of the team by assisting with branding and design and creating a web-based checklist that lets users customize their document requirements. Create your own checklist at

Information Campaign Saves Lives
In 2008, Kidd Group and 3W Studios created another campaign for DHSMV targeted at motorcycle riders. The "Ride Proud. Dress Loud." initiative garnered excellent media coverage, pulled in two ADDY awards, and three local and two state FPRA awards. The most satisfying feedback, however, is shown in results published last month. The campaign encouraged riders to wear safe and visible clothing, counter to many biking stereotypes and conventions. Data in the "Traffic Crash Statistics Report 2008" show that motorcycle fatalities (drivers and passengers) decreased by 3.3 percent from 2007 to 2008.
Twitter is Not All Nonsense
For anyone who is convinced Twitter is useless, a
new report finds that in fact less than half of all tweets are "pointless babble". Twitter is still a key tool in the arsenal for certain demographics, but as Stephen Fry said recently, "it's called 'Twitter', it's not called 'earnest debate'". If you need a Twitter primer or help applying this technology to your organization, let us know.
