Dedicated to Our Work
Sometimes work and play collide in unexpected ways. This month we launched the new website for
Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic, and I became a patient of the same facility after breaking my toe. Dedication? Perhaps this was one step too far in trying to understand our client's needs? Nevertheless, I can safely say that since leaving rehab, both the site and myself are much improved.
This same dedication seems to have worked well in Orlando (see below) where sampling the client's work has a sweeter side. Let's just hope we don't work for the Department of Corrections any time soon.... although, if we did, at least there is a chance we could
update our Facebook page.
In other web news, Twitter has got a lot of press during the post-election unrest in Iran, but here's a
cautionary tale for unscrupulous marketers looking to capitalize. And my favorite tech conundrum this month comes from those marvelous folks at Microsoft. Not only is
Internet Explorer 8 here, but
Windows 7 is on the horizon. European users will be offered
a browser-free version (to avoid further EU legal action) and will be free to download any browser they want. They just pick one and download it using their ... browser ....um.

While its full of delicious goodies, the cherry on top is a robust product database that allows users to easily find the products they need. The new online catalog is easy to maintain and allows various products to be highlighted for increased visibility on the site. Whether you're a professional chef or just enjoy dabbling in the kitchen, this site has something for you. Satisfy your sweet tooth at

Competition Time
This month we're giving away free time!
Visit our Facebook page to find out the details of the competition. The first correct answer received will win
two free hours of our time. Have us add some new pages, audit your site, or just make a series of routine updates. The free time is good until 2010, and we'll do pretty much anything within our professional capabilities. You don't need to be a current client either, you just have to get the answer right. The next five correct entries will win
5 hours of maintenance work at 50% of our hourly rate, to be used before August 1, 2009.
