2009.12.11 The Smokies' Most Exclusive Motorcoach Resort
The Dell, located in the Hidden Mountain resort in the heart of the Smoky mountains, is the latest RV resort to benefit from the services of 3W Studios and Kidd RV Consulting. The new site comes in advance of the second phase development, just announced and to be know as "The View". Watch for more on that in the coming year. 2009.12.10 FLHMOCAP Launches Content Management Site
The Florida Health Maintenance Organization Consumer Assistance Plan ("HMOCAP") was created by Florida statute to protect HMO enrollees in the event that an HMO enters insolvency. The new site features content management tools to let HMOCAP staff manage the website on a continuing basis. This includes a built in RSS news feed.

2009.12.02 BCEI Unveils New Logo and Website
Barkley Consulting Engineers was founded in 1996, the same year as 3W Studios. Thirteen years later, the two companies have come together to create BCEI's first web presence. As part of the services provided, 3W designed a new logo for the company, which evokes an I-beam cross-section, a continuing theme in the company's history and culture. The new website showcases their work and provides the solid online presence that is required to be competitive in this day and age.

2009.11.24 King Arthur's Tools Launches New Storefront
Having already carved out a niche market in the woodcraft industry, King Arthur's Tools has opened a new online store for their line of power cutting and finishing tools. The newly polished storefront is a major upgrade on the previous incarnation, with numerous customer-focused features added to drive sales. Product videos and instructions accompany each item in the searchable catalog. The new store also includes a wishlist feature, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

2009.11.24 Sun 'n Lake new look is a hole in one.
With a new, state-of-the-art golf clubhouse opening in December, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate at Sun 'n Lake, near Sebring in Florida. Not least of which is the new brand created by Kidd Group that is part of a drive to attract residents to the community. The new tagline “Come for the Sun. Stay for the Play” will be the cornerstone of a public relations push that starts at the clubhouse opening event. 3W Studios provided design and programming for the supporting website.

2009.11.23 NCTR Social Media Report goes live
The National Center for Transit Research commissioned Kidd Group to provide research and act in an advisory role to help create the new report "Routes to New Networks: A Guide to Social Media for the Public Transportation Industry". The study analyzed the impact and implications that social media tools have on the transportation industry. As a leader in both transit marketing and social media, Kidd Group was well suited to the task. 3W Studios provided publication and website design to help bring the report to life. The website is part of the NCTR-Net, a collection of social media sites linked to the report.

2009.11.17 Big Bend Scenic Byway Achieves National Status
The National Scenic Byways Program has announced its 2009 designations. Included this year is Florida's Big Bend Scenic Byway. The Byway passes through Leon, Wakulla and Franklin counties and covers 220 miles of Panhandle beauty. 3W Studios created the website for the Byway that was part of the national application, submitted earlier this year. Congratulations to all those who worked so hard to achieve this designation.

The Able Trust has launched a new mini-site to support their "Look at My Ability" campaign. Although brief in scope and simple in design, the site plays a pivotal role in the campaign and acts as a central hub for employment resources. 2009.10.30 The Land Group Launches
The Land Group provides real estate brokerage services for land throughout the Florida Big Bend and Panhandle. Specializing in commercial and recreational land, the company has handled millions of acres in transactions. 3W Studios created a custom administrative tool to enable editing of the featured properties. Jim Davis, CPA, has unveiled a new website as part of the firm's expansion of services. The firm has a depth of experience in all matters related to financial planning and accounting. 2009.09.22 Heritage Prepares for Nation-Wide Launch
Heritage Motor Coach Resort and Marina, located in Orange Beach, Alabama, has launched a new website in advance of its grand opening. The resort offers a fantastic location and the unique feature of an on-site marina in addition to all the traditional amenities of a luxury coach resort. As well as website design, Heritage benefited from intense public relations efforts and ongoing design support from Kidd Group, in a ramp up of exposure in time for the resort's first guests in October. Architects : Lewis + Whitlock P.A. have launched a new site design with the help of 3W Studios. The new site exemplifies the high level of design found in the firm's architecture. Working closely with the client, 3W Studios helped translate a strong design vision to web reality. The results are an understated and refined site that both showcases the work and accurately portrays the company's talents. Custom-made management tools were added to allow worry-free maintenance in the future.

2009.09.11 ACSP Launches Content Management Site
The Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning represents over 100 colleges across the United States who offer courses in urban and regional planning. Officers in the organization are located throughout the U.S. and so the website had to be able to allow for collaboration. 3W Studios implemented a content management system to allow non-technical staff to maintain the core of the site. In addition, member schools have access to their own profiles and can add content as necessary. A work-flow process lets the organization keep consistency. The site is a resource for those planning on pursuing an education in the field, those already at school, and the schools themselves. Launched in advance of the association's 50th anniversary conference in October, the new site will be expanding exponentially as the member schools begin to participate.

2009.09.03 New Site Enters Orbit
Here is one interstellar launch that wasn't dependent on the Florida weather: Red Canyon Engineering & Software has deployed a new website. The site details the firm's capabilities and pedigree, with a full mission listing. The company has been integral to such famous missions as the Deep Impact asteroid collision and the Phoenix Mars Lander. They are currently working on the Orion Vehicle that will replace the Space Shuttle. 3W Studios created custom management tools to allow RCS staff to maintain key areas of the site.

The Tallahassee Film Festival has kicked off the 2010 schedule with their call for entries. 3W Studios is entering our second year sponsoring the festival, and providing design and hosting services. 2009.08.31 Florida Public Notices Revamps
FloridaPublicNotices.com is a database of public and legal notices published in newspapers throughout the state of Florida. 3W Studios designed the previous site in 2002, and although the core systems have lasted well, it was time for some enhancement. The new site sports a visual redesign, as well as wider access to the notices before requiring an account, increased searching and sorting tools and the ability to accept more notice formats from the participating newspapers. Members can also publish search widgets to link directly into the site and the archives have been extended to cover a longer period.

2009.08.28 Deaf Advocacy Site Goes Live
A G Bell Florida, Inc. a chapter of Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, has launched a redesign of their website. The new site is powered by a content management system allowing staff to perform most content updates. The site offers users a way to donate to the chapter and get involved via a forum. The new site makes the chapter a national leader within the organization when it comes to web presence.

2009.08.17 Gather Go Get for January 1, 2010
Floridians renewing or obtaining their driver license or ID will face new document requirements at the start of next year. Kidd Group and 3W Studios created the Gather Go Get campaign, that launched last week, for the Division of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The campaign will bring awareness to Florida's citizens in advance of the January 1 date. Cornerstone of the effort is the new website, where visitors can create their own document checklist, find the nearest office, and get assistance with obtaining original documents. Other work on the project includes a new brand for the Florida driver license, campaign materials, advertising and public relations events across the state. Paid media is scheduled to run during the fall, in the run up to the changes. 3W Studios also provided design assistance for the main Division of Driver License website.

2009.08.12 Origins '09 Video Honors Darwin
Florida State University's Office of Research commissioned 3W Studios to produce a video commemoration of a recent campus event. "Origins '09: A Celebration of the Birth & Life of Beginnings," was inspired by the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin. The event ran for a week in March and featured speakers and lectures, as well as fairs and even a jazz concert. NPR's Science Friday also did a live show from the event. The 14-minute compilation featured video, audio and photography from the events. 3W Studios provided editing and production services, and created DVD and online versions of the final cut.

2009.08.07 3W Completes Teen Driving Videos
3W Studios has completed production on a video series for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. In conjunction with Kidd Group, who organized and filmed a series of events with teen drivers, 3W Studios was responsible for editing and post-production. The first to air is the 60-second PSA video, now showing on DHSMV's teen driving website. 10 longer clips featuring interviews with teen drivers will be posted to the site in the coming weeks.

2009.08.04 Allstate Cuts Ribbon on New Site
Allstate Construction has completed the redesign of their new website. The new site presents a comprehensive catalog of successful projects organized by category, showcasing the company like never before. And just like any good building, there is much more to the project than just the view from the street. The underlying structure accommodates a series of browser-based tools to let Allstate maintain their portfolio, staff listing and news sections. 2009.07.21 Robert Olen Butler's 'Hell' of a new website
Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Olen Butler has launched his new web presence, in advance of his 11th novel, named 'Hell'. The site provides a full bibliography including excerpts, reviews, and where to buy. Also featured is a video and audio gallery of the author. Fans can even track the author's appearances through the events listings. The site itself provides Robert Olen Butler with a full set of content management tools for maintaining the site.

The Mayfield Group is a boutique public relations firm focusing on luxury travel, tourism, and fashion. 3W Studios provided installation and design customization for MG's new Wordpress site. Often a smart choice for cost-effective content management, Wordpress offers user-friendly tools for site owners, and has long been one of the most popular tools on the web. 2009.05.29 TOC Website Leaves Rehab
Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic has launched a redesign of their website. The process began with an extensive surgery, grafting a new design onto a reworked organizational structure. Next were several spells of intense physical therapy to prepare for the big day. A final x-ray showed all was well. The site provides online bill payment via Pay Pal and will soon allow patients to complete pre-visit paperwork online.

2009.05.12 Governor Crist Unveils Florida's GI Bill Program
3W Studios has completed the design and launch of Florida Boots to Books. The initiative, led by the Board of Governors, showcases the curriculums and services available to veterans under the New GI Bill, signed into law in 2008. The website is part of an effort to create a seamless transition from the battlefield to the classroom. The Board of Governors is leading a team of partner agencies and organizations to promote these benefits in advance of August 2009, when they become available. The program's logo, also designed by 3W Studios, received a Silver ADDY award in March.

2009.05.05 HS Tejas Launches Redesign
HS Tejas sells land. The company focus is on buying large tracts and reselling them as parcels. The company currently has inventory from Texas to Maine. As part of the Continental Pacific (CP) family, HS Tejas enjoyed a redesign as part of a 12-site deal worked out between 3W Studios and CP. As well as the two main corporate sites, 3W Studios has launched a series of property-specific sites for tracts as far away as Hawaii and Chile.

2009.05.02 FALCON Build 2A Enters Acceptance Testing
In 2004, 3W Studios and Kidd Group came to the aid of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement by rebranding a cutting edge project. The FALCON concept was unveiled at the 2004 CJIS Conference. The following year, 3W Studios began providing consultation on interface design, and converting the demo screens from the conference to real world examples. This effort became part of the functional specifications for the project, and the chosen vendor was ultimately tasked with designing to these specs. Now, after many years of design and coding, FDLE has begun user-acceptance testing of the production system. Through our involvement in the process, 3W Studios has helped provide a user-friendly front end to what has become a complicated but robust tool for securely transferring and cross-referencing criminal justice data.

2009.04.01 Where is that Bear?
Indigo Bluffs has launched an online photo contest with grand prizes of $500 in cash or a $5000 rally at the luxury RV resort in Michigan. Even better, entrants automatically win a free 4 day 3 night stay just for submitting their photos. The contest was the brainchild of Kidd Public Relations, supported by 3W Studios. The Indigo Bluffs website accepts entries and displays a gallery of approved photos from each category. An administrative tool lets the client review entries before they show up on the site. 2009.03.26 Destin Realtor Launches Redesign
Carol Parker had a problem. Her website didn't work. Precious content was locked away in a content management system that didn't work. Property listings didn't show. Users were left frustrated. The Association of Corporate Contributions Professionals made a splash at their annual conference this year by unveiling their new logo and website. 2009.03.08 Baycrest Tops Off New Website
Baycrest Corporation is a leading construction management firm with a long list of successful projects in and around Leon county. Their latest success is a new online presence that is a giant leap forward in the company's marketing efforts. The craftsman-inspired bungalows offer storage and living space to complete the class A luxury lots.

2009.03.03 3W Studios Wins 6 ADDYs, Kidd Family Sweeps Awards
3W Studios brought home 6 ADDY awards from the Greater Tallahassee Ad Fed 2009 competition. The six silver awards were part of a 21-award sweep for the Kidd family, with Kidd Group collecting 15 of their own, including 5 gold. Once again, the work recognized shows not only the diverse nature of 3W's clients but showcases the full range of talent on staff. Each award featured telling contributions from different combinations of team members, and this year we were especially pleased to recieve recognition outside of our usual web sphere.

2009.02.27 Capturing the Speed of Life
IDT invites filmmakers and researchers alike to submit entries to the 2009 Speed of Life competition. Video files must be no more than 60 seconds in length, and at least 50 percent of footage must be filmed using high-speed, digital technology (250 FPS). The competition is being run via YouTube as part of IDT's social marketing outreach. Strategy and execution for the competition are being carried out by 3W Studios and Kidd Group Public Relations. 2009.01.16 NRFSP Adds E-Commerce
The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals has enhanced their website with the addition of an online store. The store is seamlessly integrated into the site, and currently sells key food safety documents published by the organization. The current site launched in April of 2008 and since that time has had new functionality added continuously, including news aggregation. 3W Studios also helped update the company logo by creating new electronic master files.
