2004.12.00 New CHP Site Features Member Health Portal

Capital Health Plan has launched a new design with added benefits for members. The new CHPConnect portal provides members with real power when it comes to managing their health. As part of the rollout, 3W Studios provided a new design for the site, and an interactive Flash tour of the portal, complete with narration. The Association of Merit Shop Craftsmen has launched its new online presence. The redesigned site, complete with updated corporate branding, allows registered members to create personalized craftsman profiles. Member contractors can then search for potential employees from the nationwide database, and post job notices for craftsmen to search. The association provides a national connection between contractors and non-union skilled workers. More information is available online.

2004.10.00 'New Ride' for FADA

The Florida Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) has driven their new site off the lot. The new ride features a custom paint job, additional horsepower under the hood, and more cup holders in the cabin. Actually, the newly redesigned site does offer many improvements for FADA and its members. Staff now have greater access to the site with the ability to update many of the key areas of content. Members can now search a knowledge center and a database of regular and associate members. The site receives heavy traffic during the legislative session (spring) and members can look forward to constant updates, RSS news feeds and a legislative action center.

3W Studios has expanded our services to include commercial production for broadcast television. The first beneficiary of our new capabilities is 211 Big Bend. The 30-second spot was completed in-house and marks a production milestone for our studio. We can now add DVD-quality video to our other multimedia capabilities previously utilized to great CD presentation and interactive kiosks. 2004.08.00 St. John's Revamps Online Ministry

St. John's Episcopal Church of Tallahassee has launched a redesign of its web presence. With a large and active congregation, the church has found its website was increasingly unable to meet their needs. Enter 3W Studios, and our custom solutions department. As well as the obvious visual redesign, we implemented a tailor-made site management solution that lets church staff make their own updates. Now each ministry can develop needed web content, while at the same time working within a consistent global environment. St John's is celebrating its 175th anniversary this fall (although the previous website was not quite that old). 2004.07.00 OPASTCO Recognizes PSTC

OPASTCO (Organization for the Promotion and Advancement of Small Telecommunications Companies) has recognized the Public Service Telephone Company website, designed by 3W Studios. Out of 183 entries, the PSTC website won a Certificate of Achievement and took 2nd place overall. The redesign was completed in August of 2002, and has obviously held up well.

2004.07.00 Falcon Takes Off

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has unveiled its latest tool in the fight against crime. Falcon is Florida's Integrated Criminal History System. The powerful database system combines previously isolated data with new technology to allow for positive biometric identification. FDLE commissioned 3W Studios and Kidd Group to provide Falcon with an identity and help it take flight. As well as a public information website, we provided a brand mark, printed material, conference display material and a short introductory video about the project. The website includes a small demonstration of the system, which will be launching towards the end of the year. 3W Studios will be working with FDLE on an ongoing basis to design the user-interface for the production model. 2004.06.00 Award News: 3W Recognized For Redesigns

Results of the 2003 International Web Page Awards have been leaked in advance to the lucky winners. 3W Studios was pleased to receive two "Certificates of Creative Achievement." The sites recognized were our own corporate site and Florida Dental Association. The FDA's site was redesigned in September of 2003, having already been recognized by the awards in 2000. 3W Studios has earned recognition from the IWPA in 5 of its 6 awards. The competition draws entries from such industry heavyweights as Agency, Organic and Razorfish. The best of show winner will be announced on www.webpageawards.com.

Florida Press Service, through their National Newspaper Placement Services, has launched OASIS - Online Analysis Suite & Information Systems. The system, developed by 3W Studios, allows Florida Press to provide planning and tracking tools to large media placement clients. The site contains a database of newspapers and rates, allowing media planners to concoct endless budget scenarios across their media markets. They can then track their spending and run monthly year-to-date reports. The system is currently operational for Florida, with the entire southeast United States to come online over the summer. Bob Knight Photo has launched GradTrak in a new marketing campaign that highlights the technology behind their business. As a leading photographer of graduation ceremonies, Bob Knight Photo routinely handles thousands of photographs a day. Pelican Dental Concepts has launched its new identity, including a new web presence. Formerly Dental Assignment Dental Reimbursement (or DADR), Pelican Dental Concepts provides dental insurance to employers and their employees in Florida. Kidd Group and 3W Studios worked together to rebrand the project, and present it to the world. The website debuts along with new marketing material and trade show presentations, all under the wings of the new logo.

The Republican Party of Florida has launched a Spanish language site in the run up to the Presidential election. Rather than simply translate a few welcoming phrases, the new section of the site features Spanish-only content. It covers the issues and news relevant to Hispanic voters in the state, as well as providing key governmental resource links that are available in Spanish.
