Viewership up 2,889%!

August was a month of statistics, most of which came to me online. For starters, there was the theory that more than 50% of people would get their Olympic coverage online this year. NBC increased video streaming 2,889% from 2004 (Did you install the Silverlight plugin?). And don't forget the medals table and world records (although I did enjoy this take on the medal tables). Eclipsing Bejing, at least for Floridians, was Tropical Storm Fay and the record rainfalls it brought. But here are some numbers you can really get your teeth into: the new ONQI scores for food, coming to a supermarket near you next month.
