If you follow our newsletter, you'll know that we like to bring you news of fun ways to pass the time while you're online. Twitter isn't new, but it seems to have recently caught on in and around the office. Hopefully it will wear off before it dents productivity in a noticeable fashion. All the kids are doing it though, even presidential hopeful Senator Obama (didn't see an 'official' McCain feed yet).
This month's other waste of time is from those clever folks at JibJab. Four years ago they brought us their (still funny) Bush-Kerry sketch and now they have unveiled a series of 'sendable' animations, including some featuring the current presidential hopefuls. The best part is that you can embed yourself in these videos, much like the Office Depot Elf of a few years ago. Enjoy our own rendition of the can-can or create your own version. America For Gold is a non-profit organization that works to secure sponsorship and funding for any athlete who might have a shot at Olympic competition. You may recognize some of the more prominent medal winners, but for every superstar there are dozens of athletes working just as hard in lesser known sports. Motorcycle Campaign Aims to Save Lives
The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), Florida Rider Training Program (FRTP) and Tallahassee law enforcement have joined forces with area motorcyclists to launch a new motorcycle safety campaign. This statewide initiative focuses on promoting motorcycle visibility and safety in an effort to reduce fatalities on Florida’s roadways. 3W Studios provided the online press room to accompany public relations events staged by Kidd Public Relations. The campaign materials were designed by Kidd Group.

The Belser-Parton Literacy Center Relaunches
The University of Alabama's Belser-Parton Literacy Center focuses on children and how their literacy needs can best be served through excellent teaching, meaningful research, and community outreach. The new site provides extensive biographical information on the faculty members involved in the program as well as information on the various projects that they sponsor. 3W Studios has an ongoing relationship with the University as an endorsed vendor.
